Summer Events, Headlines EDU, Updates!
We’re Launching Headlines EDU — And Giving Back to Atlanta, One Cut at a Time
Big things are happening at FORTE SALON — and it’s more than just fresh fades and lived-in blondes. We’re proud to announce the official launch of our new education brand: Headlines EDU.
Headlines EDU is our answer to a big gap in the hair industry: real education that inspires, trains, and expands a stylist’s will to learn. We’re here to break things down — not just how to do a technique, but why it works. Our mission is to give stylists the tools, knowledge, and confidence to shape every style and color with intention. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been behind the chair for years, this platform is built to elevate your skill set and reignite your creativity.
Mark your calendars — Headlines EDU officially drops August 30th.
We’re working hard behind the scenes on the education book, teaser videos, and online opportunities to learn, grow, and connect. Keep your eyes on our socials for sneak peeks and release countdowns.
Giving Back: Free and Pay-What-You-Can Haircuts for ATL
While we’re working on building up the next wave of hairstylists, we’re also staying grounded in what matters most — community.
This Sunday, August 3rd, we’re partnering with ATL Free Fair to provide free haircuts to for LGBTQ+ youth. It’s our way of showing love and support for the people who make this city what it is. Come find us, bring a friend, and leave with a fresh new look — on the house. At EAV Farmer’s Market from 12-4pm.
And we’re not stopping there.
On August 11th, we’re teaming up with Southern Fried Queer Pride, and No Limit Salon for Queer Threads, a Pop-Up Thrift Shop and Barbershop. This event is all about access, dignity, and creating safe, affirming spaces for the LGBTQ+ community. Pay what you can — whether it’s $0 or $50 — no questions asked. Our only goal is to uplift and serve.
Hair is power. Education is freedom. Community is everything.
We’re proud of what we’re building — and even prouder to share it with you. Follow along as we launch Headlines EDU, show up for ATL, and continue making hair a force for good.
Stay tuned, stay inspired, and stay rooted.
